Wallwin Electric Services Ltd. in Barrie is taking action to improve the health of their employees by working together with Healthscore. Since early 2003, the two companies have partnered together to offer Wallwin’s employees and their families, the opportunity to focus on and improve their health, while lowering the utilisation and costs of corporate health care benefits. “The financial benefits are simply a bonus,” explained Craig Wallwin, President of Wallwin Electric Services. “Our primary intention is to provide our employees and their families with the programs and services that allow them to fully enjoy and appreciate their lives through improving their health and awareness of health issues and risks.” The Healthscore program has been developed to assist companies and their employees with an interactive evidence-based health care program designed to inspire staff and management to greater health.
